Preparing for a Job Interview
When preparing for a job interview, there are several things to keep in mind. Here, a brief overview of what those things are.1 - Dress your best. Plan to dress better than the person who will be interviewing you. This may mean doing a bit of research. If the firm you’re interviewing at requires that everyone wear business casual, you may not need to wear your suit, and it may in fact seem inappropriate to the interviewer if you do so. Thus, it’s important to ask.2 - Print out several copies of your resume. You may be asked to meet with additional executives beyond those you’re originally told you’ll interview with, so it’s good to have several extra copies on hand so that you may give them to these executives.3 - Project confidence. Even if you’re very nervous, relax. You’re at this interview for a reason - because your potential employer saw potential in you. So go prove him or her right.
